IFA 2025 Congress in Lisbon
From 5 to 9 October, the city of Lisbon hosted the IFA 2025 Congress, one of the most prominent global events in the field of international taxation. Organised by the International Fiscal Association (IFA), this annual gathering brings together experts, academics, tax authorities, and industry professionals to analyse the main global trends and challenges in taxation.
Representing Bové Montero, Partner Andreu Bové and Tax Director Francisco Javier Rodríguez attended the event. Both actively took part in the technical sessions, discussions, and professional meetings, sharing insights and perspectives on the evolution of international tax regulations and their impact on today’s business environment.
This year’s edition, focused on two highly relevant topics: the corporate tax residence of legal entities and the improper use of tax treaties and source taxation.
Year after year, the IFA Congress continues to establish itself as a leading international forum, fostering the exchange of technical knowledge and the creation of new opportunities for collaborating among professionals and institutions from around the world. For Bové Montero, participation in this event reaffirms our commitment to excellence and continuous development in the tax field, as well as our dedication to actively contributing to the global debate on the future challenges of taxation.
