María Gómez joins Bové Montero as the new Human Resources Director

Bové Montero strengthens its team by appointing María Gómez Ramos as the new Director of Human Resources. With over 15 years’ experience in international talent management and recruitment, she will lead both the internal HR department and client recruitment services. She will also drive the strategy and development of her multicultural team. 

Bové Montero has appointed María Gómez Ramos as our new Human Resources Director, with the goal of leading and driving international talent. We currently have a team of 160 professionals from 20 different nationalities serving the needs of the firm’s global clients. 

From her new position and as an expert in recruitment, María Gómez Ramos will lead both the internal HR department and the client-facing talent acquisition services. 

Born in Bilbao, she brings over 15 years of experience in talent management and HR strategic planning across various sectors in multinationals, both in Spain and abroad. “The arrival of María Gómez Ramos provides a new boost to continue building a unique team aligned with Bové Montero’s values and future vision”, stated the executive regarding her appointment. 

Prior to joining the firm, she served as Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) at the Gipuzkoan multinational Angulas Aguinaga. There she was responsible for the Group’s talent acquisition strategy—defining priorities, employer branding, and selection processes—as well as people management for the corporate area, sales network, and international subsidiaries. Her role involved implementing training and development programmes, as well as designing compensation and benefit models to align business strategy with teams and foster a harmonised corporate culture. 

Previously she was part of Michael Page, where she specialised in recruiting middle and top management profiles for a wide range of companies and sectors, both nationally and internationally. She also had the opportunity to develop and consolidate the Central America Desk, coordinating talent attraction for companies in Central America and the Caribbean from Panamá. Positioning the service as a benchmark in the region. 

Beginnings as Auditor at EY 

Bové Montero’s new HR Director began her career as an auditor at EY, serving SMEs and international corporations.
