HLB Advisory – Tax – Audit Conference 2025

The annual HLB Advisory – Tax – Audit Conference 2025 took place earlier this month, in Mexico City under the theme of “Bridge to a Brighter Future”. The conference brought together HLB colleagues and friends from around the world to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and discuss new strategic perspectives and innovations. As one of HLB’s most important gatherings, it provides a platform for discussing emerging trends and strengthening global collaboration. HLB International is a global network of auditors and advisors present in 153 countries. Bové Montero has been a member of HLB for over 35 years, representing the network in Spain. 

José María Bové (President and Founder), François Blin (Partner), Andreu Bové (Partner and HLB’s Global Private Client Leader), Daniel Masferrer (Partner) and José Luis Gómez (Partner) attended the congress on behalf of the Firm. They had the opportunity to further strengthen ties with HLB and participate in sessions on each practice area. The partners explored trends in professional services through immersive sessions facilitating a great exchange of knowledge among all HLB participants. 

Highlights of the event included Andreu Bové’s presentation on “Private Client Services” as HLB Global Private Services Leader, in which he provided a global overview of the practice and its variations across different jurisdictions. Daniel Masferrer also participated in the roundtable discussion on “ISA 600 revised – post implementation review”, he is a member of the HLB Global Assurance Group, where the main international challenges in assurance and audit matters are discussed.
