It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sad news of the passing away of our beloved colleague Josep Serra Millà, partner of Bové Montero y Asociados, at the age of 63.
As an economist, Josep joined the Firm at its foundation and was with us throughout his whole life. He was, above all, a good friend, close, positive, loyal, a true sportsman and young in spirit.
He devoted his entire life to auditing, a profession he loved, and he leaves a significant contribution and an important legacy in the sector, which is widely recognised. He was a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Spain; the Association of Chartered Accountants of Catalonia; the Tax and Accounting Advisors Committee of the Catalan Association of Economists (CEC); the Governing Board of the Official Register of Expert Accountants of Catalonia (RECC); the Grupo20 Auditoría; and was also a member of the Governing Council of HLB International.
His passing away has come too soon and his loss leaves his family, friends, colleagues and, of course, the entire Bové Montero y Asociados team orphaned. His memory will always remain with us.
The entire team of Bové Montero y Asociados deeply mourns this sudden loss and the impact he left on the Firm is irreplaceable. We join his family and friends in their grief.
