On 19 May, Bové Montero y Asociados held a conference on the “New accounting standards on revenue recognition” given by Daniel Masferrer, Audit Manager of the Firm. Daniel is Economist, holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Phoenix (Arizona), is a Chartered Accountant (ROAC) and a Certified Public Accountant (USA). This live session was organised in collaboration with the joint Accounting Commission of Catalan association of economists (CEC) and the Catalan association of accountancy and management (ACCID). During the session, Daniel explained the main modifications of this provision and made an analysis of the potential impacts of this new regulation, which aims to adapt the current Spanish regulatory framework to the accounting regulations of the European Union. After the presentation, a debate-colloquium was held with the participation of the speaker and all the attendees, moderated by Martí García Pons, chairman of the Accounting Commission (joint CEC-ACCID commission) and academic secretary of the CEC.
