The lawyer and economist strengthens the firm’s position as a benchmark for international advisory services from its five offices in Spain.
The professional services firm Bové Montero y Asociados has named Andreu Bové Boyd as a new partner. The lawyer and economist, who has spent part of his professional career outside Spain, joined from the Swiss law firm Anaford in the final quarter of 2017. He previously worked in the tax department at Cuatrecasas for five years.
Bové Boyd will further consolidate Bové Montero y Asociados’ status as a benchmark firm in advisory services for foreign clients, a segment in which it has extensive experience in the taxation of multinationals, family businesses, large estates, and business restructuring and acquisitions.
His incorporation into the partnership structure (now comprising nine partners) of the firm presided over by José María Bové is in line with the digital and technological transformation outlined in the firm’s strategic plan. The development and implementation of the plan by means of new internal management optimisation tools, will have seen an investment of 450,000 euro over the three-year period 2019-2021.
Andreu Bové Boyd holds a degree in Law and Business Administration and Management from Pompeu Fabra University and a Master’s Degree in Taxation from CEF. He speaks Spanish, Catalan, English, German, French and Italian.
