In November this year, a legal conference was held under the theme “Towards a safe, reliable and transparent AI”. The conference was organised by CHANGE2GROW, an association dedicated to helping businesses drive their digital transformation through technology, science and innovation. The programme consisted of two sessions addressing key aspects of the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) in the legal and professional services sector.
The first session introduced the legal framework of the AI and analysed its main aspects, including compliance and risk management. The second session, held on 21 November, focused on the challenges of cybersecurity in the use of AI and on training of attendees in the responsible use of generative AI.
Paul Berenguer (Business Innovation Manager at Bové Montero) led both sessions of this programme, standing out for his presentation on the second day, where he led a workshop on the basic concepts of artificial intelligence and their application through generative AI tools such as ChatGPT. During this presentation, attendees learned how these technologies are transforming key sectors and reflected on their legal and ethical implications.
Joining Paul as speakers were Jordi Nin (Associate Professor and Head of the AI Department at ESADE) and Oriol Pujol (Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Barcelona). Both addressed crucial issues such as the challenges of cybersecurity in AI, as well as ethics and sustainability in the development and use of AI, bringing valuable academic and professional perspectives to the debate.
