Last Saturday, 18th November, the German city of Munich hosted an excellent conference on Spanish property law organised by the Spanish-German Association of Jurists (AHAJ).
The event was attended by Jose Maria Bové (President), Andreu Bové (Partner), Petra Schmidt (Director of the Palma de Mallorca Office) and Blanca Lopez-Guardiola (Tax Advisor). They are all members of the German Desk of Bové Montero.
Our partner, Andreu Bové, was one of the guest speakers and gave an interesting presentation on Property Tax, with a particular focus on the technical requirements for the purchase of property in Spain by German citizens or companies.
The meeting addressed other key topics in Spanish Property law, including the Property Sales, Construction and Inheritance Law and its taxation. The expert presentations provided a comprehensive overview of the challenges and opportunities in the Spanish-German legal context.
The AHAJ is an association founded in 1984 with more than 900 members. It is the main forum for debate and in-depth knowledge of the respective legal systems, making a significant contribution to the promotion of relations between lawyers from both countries.
Bové Montero y Asociados has a German Desk made up of more than 50 professionals with a command of the language and knowledge of the country’s business culture, who specialise in advising Spanish-German clients.
