During the month of September, the Spanish Association of Tax Advisors (AEDAF) is carrying out the Tax Conference for Impatriates and Expatriates, bringing together international experts from countries like Italy, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Andorra, and Portugal.
The conference is divided into two practical sessions aimed at professionals who advise workers and companies in this type of operations. The first session took place on 13 September, under the title ¨The Tax Regime of Impatriates¨. Andreu Bové, tax partner and coordinator of the AEDAF´s Youth Group, participated as moderator and provided an opportunity for the speakers to delve deeper into key issues such as the ¨Beckham Law¨, the incentives for Spanish workers abroad or how to avoid situations of double residence and double taxation.
The second session will be held on 27 September, in English under the tittle ¨An Overview of Special Tax Regimes for Expatriates in Europe” and will address the tax regime of various European countries, including Andorra and Switzerland, among others.
Participation in this type of event as an expert coincides with the recent award of Bové Montero y Asociados by ITR World Tax, one of the most prestigious tax rankings, in the “General Corporate Tax” category.
