On the 6th and 7th July, the 33rd edition of the Forum of Auditors was held in Sitges under the motto “Prepared for the Future”, and Bové Montero was one of the sponsors.
The event, organised by the Catalan Association of Chartered Accountants (Col·legi de Censors Jurats de Comptes de Catalunya) brought together more than 1.000 representatives of the audit profession to discuss current issues in the sector, such as the new regulation on corporate sustainability and the expected impact of Artificial Intelligence on the profession. The Forum has established itself as a benchmark meeting for the profession and a place to share experiences and build relationships of companionship and friendship, which help the profession to develop.
As has become a tradition, Bové Montero’s Audit team from both Barcelona and Madrid attended the Forum to learn first-hand about current issues. The Firm was represented by Secundino Urcera (Partner), María Luisa Ramírez (Partner), Borja del Río, Isabel González, Carlos Herrero, Lydia Moreno, and Irati Berasategui.
This year, the Forum coincided with the AMA (Arc Méditerranéen des Auditeurs) Congress, giving participants the opportunity to interact and exchange ideas with colleagues from France and Italy.
The Forum is a key event for strengthening and preparing professionals for the challenges that lie ahead in today’s constantly evolving and increasingly complex environment.
Bové Montero y Asociados was founded 45 years ago as an audit firm. It currently has a team of 140 professionals and 5 offices in Spain.
