At the beginning of June, the 10th Congress of the Catalan Association of Accounting and Management (ACCID) was held under the title “Accounting and Management in times of change”.
Within the framework of this event, Daniel Masferrer, Audit Partner, participated as a speaker in the session on “The impact of inflation and interest rates on companies’ annual accounts”. In this conference he had the honour of being accompanied by Oriol Amat, economist and professor at the Pompeu Fabra University, and Jordi Martí, economist and professor at the University of Barcelona.
The ACCID Congress is an annual meeting of reference for experts in the field. Independent professionals, scholars, managers and decision-makers in Accounting and Management in the private, public and non-profit sectors gather to share, discuss and debate trends, innovations and solutions to practical problems in the profession.
Bové Montero y Asociados is one of ACCID’s partner firms and has also had the pleasure of sponsoring this congress, which brings together prestigious speakers and personalities from different institutions of reference in the profession.
In times of extreme complexity and uncertainty, such events are of key importance because they are a unique opportunity for accounting and management professionals to contribute to a higher quality information, value creation and integrated control function that helps to achieve improvement in both organisations and society.
