Between the 8th and 10th of June, the 37th Congress of the German-Spanish Lawyers’ Association (AHAJ) was held, in which Bové Montero y Asociados was represented by some members of the German Desk, including José Maria Bové (President), Andreu Bové (Partner) and Petra Schmidt (Head of the Palma de Mallorca Office).
The event, which took place in Valencia, brought together a large number of legal professionals in the Spanish-German context and allowed them to analyse, discuss and work on the main legal developments, related to current issues such as digitalisation, artificial intelligence or EU regulations on family and inheritance matters.
During the three-day event, participants were able to enjoy emblematic locations in the Valencian capital such as the Port of Valencia, the Palau Alameda and the City of Arts and Sciences.
The AHAJ was founded in 1984 and has over 900 members. It is the main forum for debate and in-depth knowledge of each other’s legal systems, and make a significant contribution to promoting relations between lawyers from both countries.
Bové Montero y Asociados has a German Desk made up of more than 50 professionals with a command of the language, knowledge of the country’s business culture and specialisation in advising Spanish-German clients.
