Last February Bové Montero signed an agreement to become a member of ACCID, the Catalan Association of Accounting and Management (“Asociación Catalana de Contabilidad y Dirección”). Thus, it joins other auditing firms, law firms, universities, Public Administrations, Chambers of Commerce, employers’ organisations, social agents, and other institutions that form part of this association.
Founded in 2002, it was born with the aim of becoming a nexus for professionals and scholars working in the field of accounting in Catalonia.
ACCID intends to complement the tasks that colleges and associations carry out through actions such as improving the transparency of financial information, promoting best practices in the dissemination of financial information, promoting research and the presentation of new developments in accounting and management, issuing publications, and organising conferences, seminars, and congresses.
Its initial founders were the Association of Chartered Accountants of Catalonia, the Association of Economists of Catalonia, the Association of Commercial and Business Graduates of Barcelona, and subsequently the Association of Secretaries, Auditors and Treasurers of Catalonia, and the Official Association of Administrative Managers of Catalonia.
The signing ceremony was attended by Montserrat Casanovas, president of ACCID, José Mª Bové, president of Bové Montero y Asociados, and Daniel Masferrer, partner of Bové Montero y Asociados.
