The professional services firm Bové Montero y Asociados has closed the 2021-2022 fiscal year with a turnover of 10.1 million euros and a year-on-year growth of 16%. This is the first time that the firm chaired by Josep Maria Bové has managed to exceed the figure of 10 million euros in a single fiscal year. In a prospective analysis for the 2022-2023 fiscal year (which will end on 31 July), Bové explains that “we are confident that we will minimise the effects of a possible recession”.
The Spanish professional services firm Bové Montero y Asociados has closed the 2021 – 2022 fiscal year with a turnover of 10.1 million euros and a 16% year-on-year growth, which is a milestone for the firm presided by José María Bové as it has managed to exceed the figure of 10 million euros for the first time in a single fiscal year.
He explains the positive development over the period by the “good performance of international services in areas such as auditing, accounting and tax management”. Likewise, in a prospective analysis for the fiscal year 2022 – 2023 (which will end on 31 July next year), Bové explains that “we hope to minimise the effects of a potential recession, which is being increasingly predicted for the beginning of 2023, although the last word on the end of the economic cycle will be left to the US Federal Reserve and the ECB, depending on their decisions regarding interest rates and the way they communicate them, not forgetting the direction that the war in Ukraine may take”.
Expansion of the Partner Structure and the Workforce
In the context of boosting the activity of the different business areas of Bové Montero y Asociados, the partner structure has been resized with the internal promotion of María Luisa Ramírez, Beltrán Sánchez and José Luis Gómez, bringing the total number of partners to 14. Furthermore, with her appointment, María Luisa Ramírez becomes the first woman Audit Partner of Bové Montero y Asociados.
It is also worth highlighting the increase in the staff to 126 people, which represents an increase of 15% for the Spanish offices as a whole, i.e., Madrid, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Seville and Valencia. At the same time, the number of German-speaking employees at the German Desk has risen to 55, compared to 40 at year-end 2020 – 2021, while the French Desk has grown to 40 employees.
