From 16th to 18th November, the 25th National Auditing Congress was held in Bilbao, organised by the Spanish Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICJCE) under the slogan “Auditing, geopolitics and sustainability”. This is the most important meeting of the audit profession in our country. It focuses on the deep transformation that the sector is promoting with the aim of being a key factor in the economic recovery process, through a comprehensive quality in all its processes. Bové Montero was one of the sponsoring firms of the Congress.

Moreover, this year, our Partner Secundino Urcera, member of the ICJCE Board of Directors Plenary, acted as moderator in the session titled “100% Digital Auditing“. The speakers explained how the profession is evolving around innovation and technology and how auditors should analyse and understand the IT systems of the companies they audit, as well as how audit teams are increasingly required to be multidisciplinary.

The Firm was represented by: José María Bové (President), Secundino Urcera (Partner), François Blin (Partner), María Luisa Ramírez (Partner), Isabel González (Manager), and Borja del Rio (Manager).
