The Spanish institute of chartered accountants (ICJCE) has organised a virtual conference entitled “The great challenge: attracting and retaining talent in auditing“. The event was attended by HR managers from several auditing firms, including Bové Montero y Asociados. Attracting and retaining talent in the sector has become a priority issue in recent years. Therefore, this conference in colloquium format focused on sharing the major challenges faced by the profession and experiences in the strategies being implemented, as well as analysing whether we are sufficiently attractive to young talent.
Bové Montero was represented by our talent manager Carlos González, who spoke, along with the other experts, about his experiences in recruiting professionals and how the Firm is working towards attracting and retaining young talent in the audit area. Bové Montero currently has a team of 120 highly qualified, multilingual and multidisciplinary professionals with international projection, which is its best asset. The profile of the professionals allows the Firm to advise foreign clients in their native language, be it Catalan, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian or Spanish.
Carlos González was one of the participants in the roundtable discussion entitled “Young talent: are we attractive enough?” together with the HR managers on behalf of EY, BDO and KPMG.
A very interesting event for the future of the profession to jointly identify best practices for 21st century talent.
