Today, November 26, 2020, Bové Montero y Asociados is once again collaborating with the foundation United Way España (part of the United Way Worldwide network) and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Spain (AmChamSpain) in a Thanksgiving Day volunteer activity at soup kitchens in Madrid and Barcelona.

Thanksgiving is a celebration that every year in the USA and Canada brings families and community members together around the table to share and give thanks.

In honour of the celebration and the spirit of table sharing, AmChamSpain and the United Way have organized a corporate volunteer action. More than 60 volunteers from the United Way and five different companies, all members of AmChamSpain, will help with the tasks of preparing and distributing food in the soup kitchens in Madrid and Barcelona.

From Bové Montero, Mª Teresa Bové, Monica Bové, Berta Piñero and Daniel Masferrer have participated in representation of the firm from Barcelona. In Madrid, Isabel González and Ludmila Frangu have joined in. This year more than ever, carrying out CSR actions as a sign of solidarity and support to the people in need is part of the Firm’s commitment to Society.

In addition to Bové Montero, Pérez-Llorca, AmCham, Mastercard and Coca-Cola are participating in this initiative. The soup kitchens that benefit from this initiative are: Comedor Luz Casanova, San Francisco, Asociación de la Caridad San Vicente de Paul, Santa María Josefa, Ave María, Mensajeros de la Paz in Villaverde, Assís centre de Acollida and Centre El Caliu.

It is expected that on this special “Thanksgiving Day” the involvement of the volunteers will allow more than 1,000 people to be served food and that it will be the beginning of a great work of these companies and their volunteers with the people in need in Spain.
