On 16 November, we hosted a webinar on “Gender equality plans and equal pay audits” in collaboration with the Colegio de Economistas de Cataluña. The session was presented by Clara del Valle, employment adviser at Bové Montero y Asociados. Clara provided a practical summary of the new obligations for companies on gender equality matters, including a look at gender equality plans, compulsory for companies with over 50 employees, and equal pay audits. The talk formed part of the explanation of the new Royal Decrees 901/2020 and 902/2020, of 13 October. Gender Equality Plans represent a new obligation for companies which should ultimately be seen as an opportunity to promote equality and diversity in organisations.
